This is my finished crop art project that includes orange lentils, white rice, flax seed, millet, sunflower seeds and adzuki beans.
I ended up just doing a simple spaceship with as many different colors as possible. What I started out with was the orange ring around the spaceship and then I put down the outline of the spaceship in sunflowers seeds.
I tried to make a flag but there were not enough colors to do that so then I just filled it with flax seeds. I made a window with the same seed that I made the wings out of and I think that it turned out pretty good.

Laser Engraved Project
My second laser engraving was a sign that I was trying to make for my friend. I started out by going online to look for an American flag that was black and white so I would be able to just print it without having to change the colors. Then I was looking for a different name to put on the sign, so I found a random name generator and got "The Thief Quarters".
I had to Choose what I would put in front of the words so that they would actually show up on the material that I was engraving on. I ended up cutting the flag off and using it separately from the other project.

Laser Engraved Business Cards
These are the business card that I have made from balsa wood and using the laser engraver. What I started out with doing was taking a measurement of the piece of wood to find out how many cards I can fit on one piece of wood. when I got done measuring the wood I started out by making a design on adobe illustrator and fitting it onto the wood. After I got the design in the right place I could save it onto a flash drive and upload it to the laser engraver and put a piece of wood onto the metal screen of the laser engraver. It then cut out the cards and burnt out the words onto the wood.

Finished Smiley-Face Project
We have added onto the hat to make it bigger so it can fit on our heads and not slip off and try not to wobble all around when we move with it on. We also started to add some tape on the bad edges and painted over them to make it look better. When we added on the back side of the hat we decided to splatter paint some white on it to make it look better then just black being there.
Then we decided to paint the other side of the back so it wouldn't budge out and make it harder to fit in and make it crack. We also decided to put a back part onto the hat so it wouldn't fall off when we tilt our head down. it was my idea to try and add a chin strap but we ended up not putting it on because it was a bad idea.
For the final parts on the hat was to make it a little thicker and sturdier so that iff it falls off our head then we won't have to worry if it broke or not. Then we painted the inside as well so that it won't buldge.
The final things we added to the body was that we added a handle so that you can hold onto it and move it instead of the armor just resting on your arms. then we also put tape on the exposed sides and painted them to make them look a little worn-in and used.

The Smiley Face Project
These are pictures of all the progress that we have made on the smiley face project. We took measurements of Alex's torso and his height and then we cut out a circular piece of cardboard and painted all of it yellow and then we painted the face on with black paint using the crooked smile and eye placement. then we took another piece of cardboard the same size as the face and we put them together with small cardboard pieces. We put them together by using too much hot glue then we started working on the arm armor and the hat. We decided to use an overlapping method for the armor and the padding on the helmet. We put the arms on by taking yarn and putting hole in both pieces of the project and tying them together.

My stained glass owl finished
My Stained glass owl is now finished and the only thing that I had to do over was that I had to grind a little off of the sides and the top of the eyes. I used the foiler to put pieces of foil all around the edges so that the solder would stick to the edges of the glass. Then, I had to put flux on all the contact points and then heat up the solder and have it drip onto the edges. When it was all done, I had to wash it off and rub wax on it with a cloth.

My PacMan Project
I am thinking about doing my project in either a 2 dimensional form in just a circle or a 3 dimensional figure like a sphere and make it look a lot more like what he looks like in the games. these are the pictures that show both the 2 dimensional and the 3 dimensional figures and the really only bad thing about doing the spherical one would be that it would be more fragile and it would take a lot longer to get all the pieces together. When i figure out what one I am going to do then I can start by making the armor for the PacMan. I am going to make a mid evil suit of crusader armor that looks like it has been through some wear and tear. It will have chain armor and on top of that it will have a layer of plate armor that hides the big parts and the feet and hands.
